Creativity has always played a huge role in how I navigate life. From childhood I would consistently seek unique ways to see and do things. When considering a career, I did what a lot of creatives do and followed the advice to pick something 'stable and viable'; undertaking a Bachelors in Psychology to draw on my natural ability to connect with people.
Those studies taught me so much about understanding myself and others, but I knew I was craving creativity when I found myself making any excuse to design and create. From illustrating my course timetables each semester, to a poster to indicate where couriers should leave my parcels - I felt myself drawn to flexing my design muscles every day.

Ultimately I knew by pursuing a career in psychology alone, I would be forcing a square to fit into a circle. But I soon learnt of the overlap in my field of study and my passion - that using my psychology experience, I could design and create unique, wonderful things that improve systems, help people and make life a little more joyous.
I completed my Creative Technologies post-graduate diploma in 2023, with a focus in graphic design and user experience. Since then I've undergone a period of major growth, expanding my design skillset and proficiencies through an internship, freelancing and contract agency work.
I made the move from New Zealand to Melbourne with my husband in March 2025 - seeking better opportunities to grow our careers and lives!
When I'm not working, you can find me enjoying sweets, adding another craft hobby to my repertoire, playing video/board games or dreaming about visiting Japan again.
