A fun, interactive kids' activity sheet set in the world-renowned Hamilton Gardens - Waikato, New Zealand.
I collaborated with the team at Bettle Associates to deliver an activity sheet that aims to encourage kids' creativity and imagination when visiting the Hamilton Gardens.
I worked on the layout and execution of the overall design, as well as illustrating an animal companion for the featured head gardener character; a peacock named Juno. The art for this featured on the brochures, as well as progress marker signs throughout the gardens.

When unfolded, the pamphlet opens up to an activity sheet on the back - featuring quizzes and scavenger hunts involving different aspects of the enclosed gardens. Along the way, signs and clues were featured in the gardens for children to interact with on their sheet - filling it out as they go.

In particular I created the illustration of the animal companion Juno, with the brief of
making a simple yet distinctive design to accompany the Head Gardener illustration.

This design was used across multiple print assets for the project.

The sign on the bottom left was placed at the end of the enclosed garden path, as a final
checkpoint for the nature adventure. When the QR code is scanned, visitors
